Van Dusen boat racks feature fittings that hold your Advantage or Wing Rigger Traditional 2x shell securely in place. The racks use a single support beam to make them stronger and more compact. With our specially shaped rack clamps and thumb nuts, mounting the rack to your car rack has never been easier (order clamps separately). The rack is designed to carry your double without the wing rigger attached. We recommend a minimum spacing of 3 ft between the cross bars on your car rack. We also recommend tying down the bow with ropes or straps to the front of the car.  

A clamp kit is also available. This kit includes 2 of our specially shaped clamps that attach the rack support beam to your car rack, fastened with 4 thumb nuts. Please provide information on your car rack, e.g. Thule, Yakima, factory rack, with dimensions of the crossbar cross section (height and width).
